The service
VersusEcho is played in the iOS and Android apps; the website is only an introduction page. Three comparison questions are published every day at 00:00 (Turkey time) and can be played for twenty-four hours. Each correct answer earns points and answering quickly raises the score; at most 1,000 points can be earned per day and the score is recorded on the leaderboard. Closed days can be played in practice mode in the app's archive but do not count towards the rankings. The service is free and may include ads in the future.
Account
To play the daily game you need to create an account in the app with a username and password; no email is required. Practice mode in the archive can be played without an account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
Playing with more than one account per person is prohibited.
Game rules
One game can be played per account per day and a started game cannot be reset. If you leave while a question is open, the clock stops; when you return, the same question continues with a 3-second penalty.
Time and correctness are measured on the server; no duration value sent by the client is used for scoring.
Attempting to influence the leaderboard with automated tools, scripts or multiple accounts is prohibited. Scores created this way may be deleted and access may be revoked.
Accuracy of questions
Questions are based on numerical facts compiled from publicly available sources. Changing values such as population may become out of date over time; if you believe an answer is wrong, you can write to the address at the bottom of this page.
The game is intended for entertainment and general knowledge; its content is not a reference source or professional advice.
Prohibited use
Placing an excessive request load on the service, attempting to bypass security measures, extracting questions and answers in bulk without permission, or using the service for an unlawful purpose is prohibited.
Content and rights
Question texts, the fact compilation, the interface design and the code belong to VersusEcho.
The numerical facts themselves are public information and no rights are claimed over them.
You may share aggregate results that contain no identity information, with attribution.
Advertising and sponsored questions
Ads may be shown in the app and on the website in the future. Ad content is chosen by the ad provider (Google) and does not reflect VersusEcho's views.
One of a day's questions may be sponsored. Sponsored questions are clearly labelled on the question card and are scored no differently from the others.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is"; it is not guaranteed to run uninterrupted or error-free.
Account termination
In case of a breach of these terms your access may be restricted without prior notice.
To delete your account, write to the address at the bottom of this page; all of your game results are deleted along with the account.
Changes
These terms may change; the current version is always published on this page and the date at the top is refreshed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
